Reverse transcription is a process by which RNA is used as a template to synthesize DNA through reverse transcriptase. In order to meet the increasing demand of scientific researchers for cDNA synthesis, the reverse transcriptase of generation 2, 3 and 4 was developed through genetic engineering based on m-mlv reverse transcriptase (maximum reaction temperatures of reverse transcriptase were 42℃, 55℃ and 65℃ respectively). MonScript™ series of reverse transcription products have higher reverse transcription reaction temperature, higher cDNA yield, and more complete gene representation than other reverse transcription products on the market. The reverse transcription all-in-one Mix containing the dsDNase version is especially recommended to completely remove gDNA contamination and obtain more realistic quantitative results downstream.
